Samsung Targets Premium Cooling Segment with AI WindFree Pro AC Launch in India

India — Samsung has introduced a new premium air conditioning offering in India with the launch of its Bespoke AI WindFree Pro Air Conditioner featuring 5 Motion Wind technology, as it continues to expand its presence in the high-end home appliances segment.

The product is positioned around AI-driven cooling, airflow customisation and connected home integration, with a focus on urban households seeking more personalised and energy-efficient solutions. The launch comes as demand for advanced cooling systems rises alongside increasingly intense summer conditions.

“As Samsung marks its 30th anniversary in India, the company continues to innovate and deliver meaningful solutions for consumers here. With India’s intense summers, consumers demand more than just cooling; they seek intelligent, personalised, and energy-efficient solutions. Our new Bespoke AI WindFree Pro Air Conditioner combines precision airflow with smart technology to deliver faster cooling, draft-free comfort, and greater energy savings,” said Ghufran Alam, Vice President, Digital Appliances, and Samsung India.

Airflow customisation and AI-led cooling

The new system integrates Motion Wind technology, allowing airflow direction and intensity to adjust dynamically based on room conditions. It offers five modes, including Max Wind for rapid cooling and Surround Wind for more even distribution.

WindFree Cooling disperses air through 23,000 micro-holes to maintain a steady indoor environment without strong drafts. The air conditioner also includes AI Fast & Comfort Cooling, which analyses temperature, humidity and room size to automatically select the appropriate cooling mode.

The design is built around a minimalist aesthetic, with a focus on blending into modern interiors while maintaining performance across medium to large-sized spaces.

Connected ecosystem and energy focus

Samsung has embedded connectivity features into the system, allowing integration with devices such as Galaxy Watch and Galaxy Ring for remote and personalised control. Additional features include Welcome Cooling and Away Care, which adjust temperature settings based on user presence.

The Map View function provides a visual overview of airflow and temperature distribution, offering users more control over cooling efficiency. The system also supports voice assistants for hands-free operation.

Energy efficiency remains a central element, with AI Energy Mode designed to reduce power consumption by up to 30%. The air conditioner uses R32 refrigerant, aligning with current environmental standards, while hygiene-focused features are included to support air quality and maintenance.

The Bespoke AI WindFree Pro Air Conditioner is priced at INR 66990 and is available through select outlets and Samsung’s online platform.
