Samsung has introduced its Galaxy Book6 series in India, expanding its lineup of premium laptops with a focus on AI-driven productivity, high-performance computing, and extended battery life. The series starts at INR 127990 and includes options with up to 24-month zero-interest EMI.
The new devices are built around Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors and integrate AI capabilities directly into the hardware. Samsung is positioning the Galaxy Book6 as a system designed for users seeking faster workflows and enhanced on-device processing, without relying heavily on cloud-based computing.

Performance and AI Integration
The Galaxy Book6 series uses Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors built on Intel 18A, offering up to 16 cores and more than 60% faster CPU performance compared to earlier generations. The integrated NPU supports up to 50 TOPS, enabling tasks such as image editing, translation, and search to run locally.

Battery, Display and Design
Samsung states that the Galaxy Book6 Ultra and Pro models offer up to 30 hours of video playback, with fast charging restoring up to 63% battery in 30 minutes. The devices feature Dynamic AMOLED 2X displays with HDR peak brightness of up to 1000 nits and adaptive refresh rates between 30Hz and 120Hz.
The Ultra variant includes NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU for graphics-intensive tasks, while cooling improvements include a redesigned vapor chamber and enhanced airflow systems to maintain performance under load.
The laptops maintain a slim profile, with the Galaxy Book6 Ultra measuring 15.4mm and the Pro variant at 11.9mm. Additional features include Dolby Atmos-enabled speakers, AI-powered productivity tools, and multi-device integration through Windows 11 and Samsung’s ecosystem.
Connectivity and Security
The series integrates with Microsoft’s Copilot+PC ecosystem and supports cross-device functionality such as file sharing, multi-screen use, and synchronized workflows. Security features include Samsung Knox and Windows 11 secured-core PC protections.
The Galaxy Book6 series will be available via Samsung’s online and retail channels, as well as major e-commerce platforms.
Market Research Outlook Analysis
The launch signals a clear shift toward AI-first computing, where on-device processing becomes a core differentiator in premium laptops. It raises competitive pressure on other OEMs to accelerate AI PC rollouts, especially in emerging markets like India.
